  *According to experts, IDS has advantages over OPC-UA:
    -**Participant view** - What are yor partners. What capabilities does your data partner has, as organisation ? 
    -**Data Usage control**. The capabilities of an organisation might be used for access control.
    -**Definition of Data Assets**.
  *In general, experts considert the use of XML data formats, as with OPC-UA, as "too fat" for telemetry. 
    *FIWARE is using the less heavy "JSON-LD" data format, for example.

  *The base of IDS is an RDF model. By transformation tools, Jav code is generated.
  *IDS requires the implementation of MQTT and HTTP protocols. Additional protocols, like the HTTP based SOAP and REST protocols, might be implemented.
  *The role of the IDS connector:
    -Identify communications partners, by asking the "Identify Provider", hosted on a server or in the Cloud.
