Free PDF Printer Drivers for Windows
- The free doPDF for WinXp. Does not make use of GhostScript.

Newer versions of PDF24 may be installed, but then just the PDF2FAX driver is working properly. There might be or might be not a “PDF24” printer ( instead of a “PDF24 PDF” printer ) available as selectable printer with business applications, but it is not properly working.
- I was told about the free “PDF24 cloud” service, you give the service permission to pass the data of your documents to third parties, as business model!!!
- The OpenSource SourceForge "qvPDF", SourceForge "qvPDF" for Windows.
- The free TinyPDF for 32-bit Windows.
- Does not make use of GhostScript.
- “TinyPDF 3”, as of 2016-04, aborts the installation on Win8-64bit: “TidyPDF has detected that you are running a 64-bit edition of Microsoft Windows. But unfortunately TinyPDF is free for Microsoft Windows 32-bit only. Do you want to pay to get the full version of TinyPDF?”.

- Once in 2011, the commercial PDF driver ”Avanquest PDF Experte Ultimate 7” was offered by PEARL Agency as budget offer. Nowadays, in 2012, if I install the driver and try to run it after installation, the urged authentification fails by the error message “Die von Ihnen für die Installation von ... ausgewählte Seriennummer ... wurde bereits verwendet oder Sie haben das Maximum der zulässigen Installationen erreicht. Daher kann die Software nicht mit dieser Seriennummer ausgeführt werden”.
