Once I wrote software drivers for IBM-AT interfacing data aquisition cards for the ISA bus, a data aquisition software for 80C166 microcontrollers, a software controlling a miniature modell of an installation for turning parcels for 80537 microcontrollers
Multimedia Expertness: I am used to work with picture processing software ( COREL DRAW, PAINT-SHOP-PRO, MICROGRAPHX PICTURE PUBLISHER ), video processing software ( Flickerfree AVI Editor, RealVideo ) and audio processing software ( Cooledit, RealAudio ) by the help of several input devices ( microphone, soundcard, CD player, A4 flatbed scanner, digital photo camera, digital PC video camera, digitizer, graphics tablett ), output devices and output media formats ( PC video screen, soundcard, printer, plotter, the DVI, PDF and POSTSCRIPT formats, several streaming video and audio formats ).
WEB design: As I said in the last two paragraphs, I am experienced to design and program WEB sites, with multimedia elements, too. Office operation: I got my own SOHO ( Small Office / Home office ) equipment. So I am used to work with word processing ( WINWORD, TEX ) software, spreadsheets ( AS-EASY-AS, EXCEL ), databases ( DBASE IV ), FAX software ( SUPERVOICE ), OCR Software ( CAERA OMNIPAGE PRO 8 ). In the german army, my task was to coordinate and to draft the reports of a repair and maintainance platoon. I know how to use A4 flatbed scanners, hand scanners, FAX and voice modems, digital photo cameras, digital PC video cameras, printers, digitizers, graphics tabletts..
Data aquisition, digitising, data visualisation: I may fulfil orders in the field of digitising, data aquirement and reaquirement of analog informations from digital data.
It is up to the customer, to regard trademarks), copyrights, personal rights of pictured persons and other legal matters following from the picture implications, the original data respectively the processing of the the patterns and the original copies. If copyrights yield by my work, these are transfered to the customer.

The final status of processing of the results of my work must be agreed individually, especially the kind of postprocessing of the formed raw data.

For digital data, the supply and the delivery of data may be realised by data media ( floppy disk, ZIP disk, CD-R, CD-RW ) or by Internet ( FTP server, E-Mail ) erfolgen. For audio data, supply and delivery may happen by COMPACT cassette, Sony MINIDISC and AUDIO-CD, additionally a supply of "black" phonograph records ( LPs, singles ) is possible, too. I prefer the Deutsche Bundespost for post and delivery service ! A personal supply or delivery by myself is no standard procedure. Resending the patterns and the original copies is possible, in general, but must be arranged.
Scan service: Scanning and digitalizing of colored original copies ( photos, printings ) up to the DIN-A4 format, soon of slight films ( DIA films / color reverse photographs ), too.
Vectorisation service: Twodimensional drawings, drafts and sketches up to the DIN-A4 format may be digitized as vector graphics with the help of a digitizers ( graphics tablett ) and COREL DRAW, manually
Photo motive service for WEB designers: Taking photographs of individual determined but abstract described objects and picture motives with a large scale of size. Examples: "single car parked a the road border", "playing children", "highscraper", "coffee cup", "stamp", even by naming a certain perspective or the relation between the covering portion of the object and the complete picture. You may supply sketches or any other original copies as pattern for the desired pictures. Resolution, coulor depth, compression rate and data format may be fixed exactly. I own a standard miniature photo camera, a digital photo camera and a digital PC video camera connected to a PC.
Copy and backup service: I may backup supplied floppy disks, ZIP disks, harddisks and CDs on floppy disks, ZIP disks, harddisks, CD-Rs and CD-RWs.
Audio service: I may copy individual collections of titles of supplied audio CDs, WAVE and MP3 files to audio CDs, CD-Rs and CD-RWs. I may do an analog transfer of audio COMPACT cassettes, phonograph records and Sony MINIDISCs to audio CDs. Just so WAVE and MP3 files and titles of audio CDs, CD-Rs, CD-RWs and phonograph records may transfered by analog copy to COMPACT cassettes and Sony MINIDISCs. Please notice that according to german and EU law, such copies and its use are just legal for private purposes !
Data visualisation: I may read, import, convert and visualize many kinds of data ( from spreadsheets, databases, pictures, word processing documents and others ) by my computer. A visualisation may be made as graphics of a spreadsheet, a graphics of a presentation software or as simple printing of a document on a printer.
Operating systems and user interfaces: I am an expert for the installation, service, maintainance, system administration and operation of the operating systems and user interfaces MSDOS, ATARI TOS, DR GEM, DR-DOS, CONCURRENT DOS, CP/M, WIN 3.1, WFW 3.11, WIN95/98, WIN-NT, LINUX, X-WINDOWS and the realtime operating system RTOS-UH. There is some experience with the realtime operating system OS-9/68000, too. I am used to work with standard IBM-AT computers, with VMEBus based industry computers and with the ATARI-ST
Networking administration: I am an expert for installation, service, maintainance and administration of networks and especially of peer-to-peer networks. I worked with PC networks using NOVELL PERSONAL NETWARE, NOVELL-DOS, OPEN DOS, DR-DOS, KIRSCHBAUM-LINK, KIRSCHBAUM-NETZ, WFW 3.11 (both plain MSDOS clients and WINDOWS servers), WIN95/98, WIN-NT and LINUX, sucessfully. I am used to set up PCs running plain MSDOS, WINDOWS 3.1, WIN95/98, WIN-NT and Linux for the intranet and the Internet.
Hardware wireing: I am an expert for serial, parallel and ethernet network communication and serial handshake. Especially I established successfully serial communication between PCs on the one hand and digitizers, plotters, "classic" serial terminals ( DEC VT100, VT220, VT240, VT340, VT640; WYSE-50, WYSE-60, AMPEX-210, AMPEX-230 ) on the other hand ! I know about "null modems", break-out-boxes, gender changers, Ethernet, coax cables and connectors to coax cables, and so on. I installed some PC peer-to-peer networks with serial, parallel and Ethernet wireing sucessfully.
PC doctor, PC supervisor and PC advisor: I am able to service, maintain and upgrade a PC by installing new hardware and software and I am able to do a PC error diagnostics in case of hardware and software trouble. I may replace parts of a PC properly, especially as recovery of defect hardware. I may advise private people, business people, business companies and industry companies in the field of computers, hardware and software.
Telephone sales & consultation business: Starting in 1991, I am used to sell second-hand goods, hardware and software by telephone. Especially, I instructed customers by telephone to setup or to maintain the MSDOS, WIN3.1, WFW3.11 and WIN95/98 operating systems and its applications, step by step. So I believe that I am capable of doing a job as telephone operator ( telephone consultant ) in a call centre in the field of computers, home electronics, hardware, software, communication and technics
Capacity for teaching: I believe that I am capable of doing a job as teacher in a course for instruction with a topic of the field of computers, home electronics, hardware, software, communication and technics at the level of a course at the german "Volkshochschule".
Alpha and beta testing: You may ask me if you need alpha or beta testers for your software or hardware !
