[hemmerling] Transport of Bicycles by Tram, Bus and Train ( for Hannover Region )

Bicycles may be transported in the tariff area of the GVH in regional and city trains of DB, Metronom, erixx ( InterRegioExpress, RegionalExpress, StadtExpress, RegionalBahn, S-Bahn ) during the following times of day, for free. Out of these times, bicycles may be transported in the tariff area of the GVH for the price of a “One-Zone Ticket”.

Bicycles may be transported in the tariff area of the GVH in trams during the following times of day, for free. Entering and leaving is allowed only at stations with high-level platforms and in tunnel stations. Each tram car has place for a maximum of 3 bicycles, which may be put down in the section of the 4.th door (counted from the front).

Bicycles may be transported in the tariff area of the GVH in ÜSTRA busses during the following times of day, for free. Each bus has place for a maximum of three bicycles, which may be put down in the middle section ( not next to the driver ).

Bicycles may be transported in the tariff area of the GVH in RegioBus during the following times of day, for free. Each bus has place for a maximum of two bicycles. The loading and unloading of the bicycles must take place through the back door area (not through door next to the driver).
